How does bunkered Fantasy Golf scoring work?

Points are dished out on a sliding scale for players who finish in the top 20 of counting events on the PGA Tour and European Tour (see below).

Where two or more players finish in a tie, the points are added together and divided equally. For example, if Danny Willett and Matt Fitzpatrick finish tied for second in the British Masters, the points for second place (40pts) and third place (30pts) would be combined and divided between them. Thus, both players would receive 35 points.

How do I earn bonus points?

Triple points are available for each of the four major championships: The Masters, US Open, The Open and US PGA Championship.
Double points are available for four other tournaments: the Genesis Scottish Open, the TOUR Championship, the BMW PGA Championship and the DP World Tour Championship.

How does my team’s captain earn points?

Each week, you will be given the chance to select a captain from the 6 players in your team. The points earned by that player that week will count double.
For example, if you choose Matt Fitzpatrick as your captain for the Scottish Open and he wins, you will receive 100 points (2 x standard 50pts for victory).
Likewise, if you choose Jordan Spieth as your captain for The Masters and he ultimately wins it, he will earn you 300 points (2 x (3 x standard 50pts)..

How do I change my team?

Once you have selected your team for the first time, you will be able to change it up to the first ball is struck in the opening round of the Masters on April 6, 2023. After this you will not be able to change it until Friday, April 7, when the transfer window will open for the first time.
You will then be able to change your entire team, if you so choose, between 06:30am on the Tuesday and 11.59pm on the Wednesday each week.

How does the Friday transfer work?

Every Friday evening, the Transfer Window will open from 6pm until midnight, during which time you will be able to make a single transfer to your team.
Points ultimately earned that week by the player you transfer out will be disregarded from your score, with points ultimately earned by the player you transfer in counting towards your total.

Can I change my captain with my Friday transfer?

You can transfer your captain out of your team if you so wish but please be aware you will NOT be able select a replacement captain until the following week.

How will I be able to check my team’s progress?

Visit your team page and following the on-screen instructions. You will then be shown your team's most up-to-date results.

When is the leaderboard updated?

Every Monday morning by 11am. In the event of a delayed or Monday finish, the leaderboard will be updated as soon as possible following the conclusion of the event.

I have registered but not received my confirmation email yet. What should I do?

In the first instance, try refreshing your inbox. If it is still not there, log-out and then log-in again to your email account. If there is still no sign, check your spam folder in case it has been re-routed there.

I have not been getting any emails from bunkered Fantasy Golf. What should I do?

Please email [email protected] with details. A member of the team will look into this for you and reply as soon as possible.

I’ve forgotten my password. Is there any way of retrieving it?

Yes. Go to the 'log-in' page on the website and click on the ‘forgot password’ link where you will be issued with a password reminder.

How do I know if I’ve won a prize?

The various prize-winners will be contacted directly by the bunkered Fantasy Golf team to inform them of their success.
